Lacoste Aftershaves and Colognes
Lacoste was founded in France in 1933 by René Lacoste, a world champion tennis player who upon retiring from the sport developed performance clothing for tennis players, using the iconic crocodile logo taken by Lacoste during his successful tennis career. The company expanded into other ranges of sports clothing and by the 1950s Lacoste became a fashionable, exclusive label.
The Lacoste brand became enjoyed success during the 1970s, notably when it was adopted as part of the American preppy style, and expanded into the production of other fashionable clothing, watches, and perfumes.
Today Lacoste is still owned by the Lacoste family, and its trademark can be found on some great mens fragrances.
