Bvlgari sometimes written as Bulgari or Blvgari is a luxury design house. Sortirio Bulgari was a Greek silversmith who moved to Italy, where his family began making jewellery with precious stones and metals. Taking on their own unique, individual style worked to their advantage, and Bvlgari became known for excellent craftsmanship and lavish designs in both jewellery and watches.
The flagship store in Rome has been open since the early 1900’s and in the 1970’s they took their 
business overseas opening more stores, including outlets in Monte Carlo and New York. The 1990’s saw Bvlgari bring out accessories and start a range of fine fragrances.
