Givenchy Mens Fragrances: EDT Aftershave and Deodorants
Award winning designer Hubert de Givenchy started learning his craft in Paris at the age of Seventeen. The following year he secured a position as a designer with Robert Piguet. By 1952 he had set up by himself and shown his first collection.
In 1957 Hubert de Givenchy introduced a fragrance section to his business and launched the first of the Givenchy perfumes for women. In 1961 L’eau de Vetiver and Monsieur de Givenchy debuted. These were the first in the line of fragrances for men.
Following a Knighthood in 1983, Givenchy continued to stun the fashion world till his retirement in 1995. The designs continued to be outstandingly creative under their new designer John Galliano and then Alexander McQueen, both British.
