Escada Mens Fragrances: EDT Aftershave and Cologne
Margaretta and Wolfgang Ley founded Escada was founded in 1976. By 1979 they were going by the name Escada Sportliche Eleganz by SRB. They became renowned for their luxury, high fashion sportswear.
Escada as they were now known, opened several international subsidiaries including one in London. They won several major awards, proving how far they had come in the fashion industry.
The first Escada perfume was launched in 1990 along with Paris subsidiary Escada Beauté, concentrating on cosmetics and fragrances. In 1993 they introduced their fragrance for men named Pour Homme and in 2002 Escada entered into a licensing contract with Wella who began producing the Escada fragrance and cosmetic line.
