Donna Karan built her reputation as a fashion designer during the 1970’s where she worked for the house of Annie Klein. Donna Karan established her own business in 1984. The following year Donna Karan showed her first collection. 
The Donna Karan brand found fame with her popular range of elastic bodysuits, and the internationally successful mix and match ‘Essentials’ line.
In 1992 DKNY for men was launched, and as the brand became more popular, the company created a range of popular fashion products, including the men’s fragrance DKNY Men in 2000.
