Calvin by Calvin Klein was launched in 1981. The scent is typical of Calvin Klein in being fresh and nature based.
Its simple black design, with the white ‘Calvin’ written on the lid, would be a forerunner of the black and white advertising synonymous the Calvin Klein name.
Calvin Fragrance Notes
- Top Notes (fragrance lasts about 20 minutes) Bergamot, Mandarin, Neroli, Lemon, Chamomile and Armoise
- Middle Notes (fragrance lasts 3 – 4 hours) Geranium, Cinnamon Leaf, Tarragon, Orange Flower and Verbena
- Bottom Notes (make fragrance last longer) Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood and Musk

Calvin by Calvin Klein was discontinued in 1990. It was re-launched in 1999 for a limited time to celebrate the millenium. However, from certain sites it is available in the following formats:
